Subscription Policy

1. Available Plans

Scribbr Plagiarism Checker offers the following subscription plans. All prices include VAT.

• 7-Day Access — €2.00: Full access to the plagiarism checker and all report features for 7 days. After the 7-day period, this plan automatically renews as a Monthly Plan at €39.99 every 30 days unless cancelled.
• Monthly Plan — €19.99/month: Full access billed every 30 days. Renews automatically at €19.99 per month unless cancelled.
• Annual Plan — €95.88/year: Full access billed once per year (equivalent to €7.99/month). Renews automatically at €95.88 per year unless cancelled.

2. Billing

Payment is charged at the time of purchase and at the start of each renewal period. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely over an encrypted connection.

A receipt is sent to your registered email address after each successful payment. If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may retry the charge. If a payment cannot be collected, access to the Service may be suspended until the outstanding balance is resolved.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your current period ends.

After cancellation, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a paid period, except where required by applicable law.

4. Refunds

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

• You were charged in error due to a technical fault on our side
• You cancelled within 24 hours of your first purchase and have not used the Service during that period
• Applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction grants you a right of withdrawal

Refund requests are reviewed individually. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your order details. We aim to process refund requests within 5 business days.

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. However, by using the Service (running a plagiarism check) before the 14-day period expires, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the Service and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost upon such use.

6. Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; the price difference for the remaining billing period is charged pro-rata. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.

7. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we change the price of your current plan, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You may cancel before the price change applies if you do not wish to continue at the new price.

8. Account Sharing

Subscriptions are for individual use only. Sharing account credentials with others is not permitted and may result in suspension of your account.
